Precision Exosome Therapeutics for Resistant Cancers
Learn about Exousia Bio, a biotechnology company developing precision exosome therapeutics for targeted drug delivery and treatment-resistant cancer.
Exousia Bio, Inc. is a biotechnology company focused on addressing two major challenges in cancer therapy: overcoming biological barriers to therapeutic delivery, and targeting treatment-resistant cancer stem cells.
Through licensed technologies and strategic collaborations, the Company is advancing engineered exosome-based therapeutics designed to deliver nucleic acid medicines — including shRNA, siRNA, and DNA — to target cells.
Its initial focus is glioblastoma, where cancer stem cells, limited therapeutic delivery to the brain, and acquired treatment resistance remain major barriers to durable treatment response.

Non-competitive synergy
Exousia Bio’s therapeutic strategy is designed to complement, rather than compete with, established cancer treatments. By targeting cancer stem cells and molecular mechanisms associated with treatment resistance, its exosome-based therapeutics have the potential to resensitize resistant tumors and enhance the effectiveness of existing therapies.
The lead glioblastoma program exemplifies this strategy by targeting NANOG-associated cancer stemness to enhance tumor response to temozolomide (TMZ).
